Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a tire which can easily adjusting a grounding shape in the tire including an annular tire frame member formed by using a thermoplastic polymeric material, and the tire.SOLUTION: A tire width direction clearance L1 of a reinforcement cord 26A in a tire width direction central part (central part) of an outer peripheral face 17S of the tire frame member 17 is arranged to be wider than a tire width direction clearance L2 of the reinforcement cord 26A in tire width direction both end part (side part) of the outer peripheral face 17S of the tire frame member 17. Thus, growth in the tire radial direction in the central part on the tire outer peripheral face when use inner pressure is applied to the tire 10 becomes larger than growth in the tire radial direction in the side part on the tire outer peripheral face, to increase a ground contact area in the central part.
