Abstract:
To provide an intake/exhaust valve capable of preventing or suppressing an auxiliary air hole from being unable to be closed due to intrusion of foreign matters into a valve chest.SOLUTION: An intake/exhaust valve 1 includes: a floating valve element 61 disposed in a valve chest 51 in a manner of being movable up and down and opening and closing an air hole 15; an auxiliary air hole 60 formed on the floating valve element 61 and communicated to the air hole 15; a valve mechanism 95 for opening and closing the air hole 15; and a float 62 moved up and down in accompany with rise and fall of a water level 100 in the valve chest 51, and capable of being kept into contact with the floating valve element 61 from a lower part X1. The valve mechanism 95 has a valve element 89 held by the floating valve element 61, and a link mechanism 96 operating the valve element 89 by rise and fall of the float 62. The valve element 89 and the auxiliary air hole 60 are separated from the water level 100 to an upper part X2, when the floating valve element 61 closes the air hole 15 in a state the water level 100 in the valve chest 51 rises, and the float 62 and the floating valve element 61 are kept into contact with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
