Abstract:
To reduce unnecessary emission of a compressed gas at discharge of drainage without an increase in cost.SOLUTION: A gas compressor includes: a compressor body; an electric motor for driving the compressor body; a compressed gas cooler for cooling a compressed gas which is compressed by the compressor body; a drainage separator for separating a gas cooled by the compressed gas cooler into a compressed gas and drainage; a drainage discharge valve for discharging drainage; and a control unit for controlling the drainage discharge valve to open and close on the basis of a current flowing through the electric motor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
