Abstract:
To provide a passage switching valve which can secure stable driving of a valve body regardless of a valve opening.SOLUTION: A passage switching valve includes: a valve body; a valve shaft housed in the valve body so as to be movable in an axial direction of the valve body; a first valve body unit attached to the valve shaft and including a first valve body which may contact with a first valve seat; and a second valve body unit attached to the valve shaft and including a second valve body which may contact with the second valve seat. In the valve body, a first pressure equalization chamber is formed at the opposite side of a valve chamber across the first valve body unit and a second pressure equalization chamber is formed at the opposite side of the valve chamber across the second valve body unit. The first valve body unit is formed with a first communication opening which allows communication between the first pressure equalization chamber and the valve chamber. The second valve body unit is formed with a second communication opening which allows communication between the second pressure equalization chamber and the valve chamber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
