Abstract:
To provide a float type steam trap that can be attached to piping in various piping directions while maintaining the discharge performance of a drain and the like.SOLUTION: A float type steam trap is equipped with a casing, a valve seat member, and a float. The casing has: a first inflow port and a second inflow port through which a fluid flows in from the outside; a valve chamber that is communicated with the first inflow port and the second inflow port; a first discharge port and a second discharge port through which a fluid in the valve chamber is discharged to the outside; and a discharging passage that communicates the valve chamber, the first discharge port and the second discharge port. The valve seat member has an orifice communicating the valve chamber and the discharge passage. The float is disposed in the valve chamber so as to be elevated/lowered, and is seated in/separated from the valve seat member to open/close the orifice. The first inflow port is disposed on a side surface of the casing, and the first discharge port is disposed on a side surface opposite to the first inflow port of the casing. The second inflow port is disposed on an upper surface of the casing, and the second discharge port is disposed on a bottom surface of the casing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
