Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a deep recessed part in a piston head and concurrently inhibit enlargement of a piston.SOLUTION: An engine has: a piston 21 including a first boss part 31 supporting a first piston pin 22 and a second boss part 32 supporting a second piston pin 23; and a connecting rod 24 including a large end part 29 assembled to a crank shaft 13, a first small end part 25 assembled to the first piston pin 22, and a second small end part 26 assembled to the second piston pin 23. A bottom B of a cavity 51 formed at a piston head 50 of the piston 21 is located closer to the large end part 29 side than tips of the first small end part 25 and the second small end part 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
