Abstract:
A clutch (70) of a clutch device (1) is provided between a first transmission section (61) and a second transmission section (62) that are rotatable relative to a housing (12), allows torque transmission between the first transmission section (61) and the second transmission section (62) in an engaged state, and blocks torque transmission between the first transmission section (61) and the second transmission section (62) in a non-engaged state. The state changing unit (80) receives an axial force from the translation unit (50), and is capable of changing the state of the clutch (70) to an engaged state or a non-engaged state in accordance with the relative position of the translation unit (50) with respect to the housing (12) in the axial direction. The biasing member (55) biases the translation section (50) in a direction in which the clutch (70) is switched from the engaged state to the non-engaged state. The holder member (56) is directly fixed to the housing (12) and restricts the axial position of the biasing member (55).
