Abstract:
To reduce a drive loss and weight by fastening and releasing a clutch by using a piezoelectric actuator, and to constitute an automatic transmission compact in a size in a radial direction, in the automatic transmission in which the two clutches are overlappingly arranged in an axial direction.SOLUTION: A first clutch 40 comprises a first rotating member 41, a second rotating member 42 arranged at an external peripheral side, and a piezoelectric actuator 45 connected to an external peripheral face of the first rotating member 41, and pressing the second rotating member 42. A second clutch 50 comprises the first rotating member 41, a third rotating member 52 arranged at an internal peripheral side, and a piezoelectric actuator connected to an internal peripheral face of the first rotating member 41, and pressing the third rotating member 52. The first clutch piezoelectric actuator 45 and the second clutch piezoelectric actuator are overlapped radially on each other, and arranged in different positions in a peripheral direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
