PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece holding device in which failure hardly occurs even when a solenoid valve is broken.SOLUTION: A workpiece holding device includes: a holding device 1 configured to hold a plate workpiece with operation of a pilot type and double solenoid type first solenoid valve 31 in a sandwiching manner; adsorptive holding device 2 configured to adsorptively hold the workpiece with operation of a pilot type and double solenoid type second solenoid valve 32; and a solenoid valve 33 for pilot pressure supply configured to supply pilot pressure to pilot ports of the first and second solenoid valves 31, 32 to execute the operation of the first and second solenoid valves 31, 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
