To provide a wood connection plate which can rigidly connect wooden plate members together in a manner abutting on each other while maintaining the strength of the plate members themselves, and to provide a rib frame structure which is assembled by using the wood connection plates.
The wood connection plates 4 are pinched between corner portions 2Aa to 2Ad of a first frame 2 and a corner portions 3Aa to 3Ad of a second frame 3. Then projections 4a, 4a, etc. projecting on both front and rear surfaces of the wood connection plate 4 are driven into gaps between grain portions of the plate members 2a, 2b of the first frame 2 and grain portions of the plate members 3a, 3b of the second frame 3 in a manner almost in parallel with the grain portions, and the first frame 2 and the second frame 3 are rigidly connected together in one body, to thereby produce an almost square rib frame 1. Further the rib frames 1, 1, etc. thus produced are arranged in plurality at predetermined regular intervals in a forward/backward direction, and the intervals of the adjacent rib frames 1, 1, etc. are rigidly connected together by corner angles 5, 5, etc. , to thereby assemble the almost cylindrical rib frame structure 1A.
