To provide a wire coil length measuring device capable of precisely measuring the length of a wire coil having various packing shapes.

This wire coil length measuring device comprises a first length measuring means computing the length of the wire coil 2 from a pulse count value of a rotary encoder 5 since detecting a tip end of the wire coil 2 till detecting a rear end when the wire coil 2 passes, and calculating a length measuring value; and a second length measuring means computing the length of the wire coil 2 from measuring time since detecting the tip end of the wire coil 2 till detecting the rear end when the wire coil 2 passes, and calculating the length measuring value. Furthermore, a means calculating a corrected length measuring value from each length measuring value calculated by the first and second length measuring means is provided.
