Abstract:
To provide a wheel bearing device facilitating assembling and capable of adjusting pressure in a bearing for a long period.SOLUTION: A wheel bearing device 1 includes: an inner member that is composed of an outer ring 2 having multiple rows of outside raceway surfaces 2c and 2d on an inner periphery, a hub ring 3 having a small-diameter step portion 3a extending in an axial direction on an outer periphery, and at least one inner ring 4 pressed in the small-diameter step portion 3a, and has multiple rows of inside raceway surfaces 3c and 4a opposing to the outside raceway surfaces 2c and 2d; a plurality of ball rows 5 and 6 stored between both raceway surfaces of the outer ring 2 and the inner member so as to roll; an outer side seal member 9 that blocks an outer side opening end of an annular space S formed by the outer ring 2 and the inner member, and a cap 12 that blocks an inner side opening end of the annular space S. The cap 12 has a communication hole 12e communicating the inside and the outside of the annular space S, and a blocking member 13 formed by an elastic member and blocking the communication hole 12e.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
