Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a fixed water saving effect or above by protruding an outer flange section received on the end face of a pipe body in the downstream on the outer peripheral face of a main body formed with orifices communicating the upstream with the downstream in it.
SOLUTION: This water saving piece 12 is provided with a main body 15 inwardly coupled with the union joint section 14 of a valve case 2 formed with the union flange 13 of a union joint 10 and an outer flange section 16 protruded over the whole periphery from the end section of the water feed side of the main body 15. Two linear orifices 17 having a uniform passage cross sectional area are formed in the main body 15, and the water feed side and the water discharge side are connected by the orifices 17. When the handle 6 of a flush valve 1 is operated to flush water, the water quantity is limited to a fixed value or below by the water saving piece 12 for water saving. The differential pressure applied to a main valve 3 is reduced by the throttling action of the orifices 17, and the main valve 3 is closed. The limiting of the flow and the shortening of the valve opening time multiplicatively act to save water further.
