Abstract:
To provide a water leakage prevention tool, a water leakage prevention method, a construction method of the water leakage prevention tool, and a valve capable of performing repair of the valve due to water leakage from a shaft seal fixing portion of the valve without suspension of water supply in a pipe conduit.SOLUTION: In a toothed partition valve 10 including: a valve rod 14; a gland packing 20 disposed around the valve rod 14 and sealing an outer peripheral surface of the valve rod 14; a packing box 13 for housing the gland packing 20; and a packing pressor 23 for pressing the gland packing 20 from above, a fixing portion water leakage prevention tool 30 prevents water leakage from a part between an outer peripheral surface of the gland packing 20 and an inner peripheral surface of the packing box 13 by disposing a seal member 31 kept into contact with an upper surface 13d of the packing box 13 and a lower surface 23d of the packing pressor 23 over the whole periphery, between the upper surface 13d of the packing box 13 and the lower surface 23d of the packing pressor 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
