To simplify an operating part structure of a water discharge device and improve controllability, the structure enabling the discharge of water to be started by the operation of turning an operating part on, and enabling cumulative flow as measured from the start to stop of the discharge of water to be set at the desired flow by the operation of a setting operation part.
The water discharge device 10 includes a channel 20 communicating with an external upstream channel; a spout 16 at the terminal of the channel 20; and a solenoid valve 22 for discharging and shutting off water by opening and closing the channel 20. An operating part 50 for starting the discharge of water by opening the solenoid valve 22 serves also as an on operation part for actuating the solenoid valve 22 to open it by axially pressing it in, and also as a setting operation part which is rotated for setting or changing the settings of cumulative flow as measured from the start to the stop of the discharge.
