Title:
WASTE PROCESSING METHOD FROM NUCLEAR FUEL CYCLE FACILITY AND ITS PROCESSING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3868635
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform the decontamination of waste discharged from a nuclear fuel cycle facility and contrive the reutilization of used electrolyte without any discharge of waste liquid.
SOLUTION: Waste 10 from a nuclear fuel cycle facility is separated into waste 12 electrolyzed and decontaminated in a molten salt electrolysis process 11 and used salt 16. The decontaminated waste 12 is separated into waste 14 cleared of salt 15 adhering to the waste in a distillation process 13 and the salt. The salt 15 adhering to the waste is returned to the molten salt electrolysis process 11 to be reutilized. The used salt 16 is separated into salt 18 regenerated in a filter process 17 and a nuclear fuel substance 19 adhering to the waste. The regenerated salt 18 is returned to the molten salt electrolysis process 11 to be reutilized.
