Abstract:
To provide a vehicular power transmission device which is constructed to suppress an impulsive load on a helical gear, based on the reaction force of a torsion torque accumulated on a drive shaft.SOLUTION: A torque limiter 32 is arranged in a power transmission passage between an electric motor MG and a helical gear 28. Thus, the reaction force of the torsion torque accumulated on drive shafts 22a, 22b received by the electric motor MG can be further reduced when the rotation prevention of the helical gear 28 is cancelled by a parking mechanism 30, than in the case that the torque limiter 32 is not provided, and so the reaction force of the torsion torque on the drive shafts 22a, 22b to be transmitted to the helical gear 28 connected to the electric motor MG can be reduced along therewith. This suppresses the load of the axial component of the helical gear 28 to be applied to a bearing 42 on the basis of the reaction force of the torsion torque on the drive shafts 22a, 22b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
