Abstract:
To provide a vehicular breather device which can secure an immersion proof function against water entering a case without deteriorating an exhaust performance.SOLUTION: A vehicular breather device includes: a cylindrical breather body attached to a case, which houses a power member with a lubrication oil, and having a communication hole for allowing an internal space of the case to communicate with an external space of the case; a cap which is attached to a tip of the breather body and covers the tip; a cylindrical exhaust valve element having a seating part facing an apical surface of the breather body in the cap; a seal member disposed between the apical surface of the breather body and the seating part of the exhaust valve element; and a spring which is disposed between the cap and the exhaust valve element and biases the exhaust valve element to the apical surface side of the breather body. A waterproof ventilation membrane is disposed covering an opening at an end part, which faces the cap, in the cylindrical exhaust valve element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
