Abstract:
To suppress wear of a jointing unit between two split shafts that constitutes one transmission shaft and to stably supply lubricating oil to a bearing that supports an intermediate portion in a longitudinal direction, of the transmission shaft.SOLUTION: A vehicular power transmission device is provided that comprises: an inner shaft connecting a prime mover and a hydraulic pump; a cylindrical outer shaft which is configured by inserting a first split shaft into a second split shaft to be jointed, and inside which the inner shaft is passed, and which forms an annular oil passage between the second split shaft and the inner shaft; a first bearing supporting one end of the outer shaft; a second bearing supporting the other end of the outer shaft; a third bearing supporting the middle portion of the outer shaft; and an oil chamber which surrounds the jointing unit of the first split shaft and the second split shaft on the outer circumferential surface of the outer shaft and is formed adjacent to the third bearing. The insertion portion of the first split shaft with respect to the second split shaft is knurled and a spiral groove is provided in the knurled insertion portion. The first split shaft is jointed to the second split shaft in a tight fit structure so that the oil passage and the oil chamber are connected by the spiral groove.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
