Abstract:
To suppress torsional resonance of a power transmission passage at a downstream side of an output shaft, in a power transmission device for a vehicle including a crank-type continuously variable transmission.SOLUTION: An output shaft 13 is composed of a hollow outer output shaft 13A supported by a supporting frame 11 and supporting a one-way clutch 23, and an inner output shaft 13B fitted to the inside of the outer output shaft 13A and projecting from one end portion of the outer output shaft 13A at one end portion. As the other end portion of the inner output shaft 13B is connected to the other end portion of the outer output shaft 13A, the substantial total length of the output shaft 13 as the sum of a length of the output shaft 13A and a length of the inner output shaft 13B is enlarged and torsional rigidity is reduced without reducing a diameter of the output shaft 13 and increasing the total length of the output shaft 13, thus vibration/noise characteristics can be improved by making a torsional resonance frequency of a power transmission passage at a downstream side of the output shaft 13, deviate to the outside of a normal rotational frequency region of an input rotational frequency of a transmission unit 14 without increasing the dimension.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
