Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce load of a parking lock mechanism for restricting an output shaft of a crank-type continuously variable transmission to a casing.SOLUTION: A power transmission device for a vehicle includes: a forward/backward movement switching mechanism S in which a first element 43 is connected to an output shaft 13, a second element 45 is connected to a differential gear D, and a third element 44 can be connected to a casing 49 by an engagement switching mechanism 48; and a parking lock mechanism 52 capable of restricting a parking wheel 53 rotated integrally with the output shaft 13 by a parking pole 54. As the engagement switching mechanism 48 connects the third element 44 to the casing 49 when the parking lock mechanism 52 is operated, torque transmitted from a driving wheel W through the differential gear D in operation of the parking lock mechanism 52 is reduced by a planetary gear mechanism P1, and transmitted to the parking wheel 53, thus the load applied to the parking wheel 53 and the parking pole 54 is reduced, and the parking lock mechanism 52 can be miniaturized.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
