Abstract:
To reduce a weight of a connecting rod of a power transmission device for vehicle, and also reduce peak load acting on a bearing for supporting a large end part of the connecting rod.SOLUTION: A shape (refer to a real line) of an outer peripheral surface Pc of a bridge part 21e is configured to set a reference line (refer to a thick chain line) smoothly connecting an arc with a center Oc at a corner part 21f in an inner edge of a rod part 21b, the bridge part being a part of a large end part 21a of a connecting rod 21 of a power transmission device for vehicle and a portion facing an open hole 21d, the center being eccentric to a small end part 21c side with respect to a center Ob of an outer peripheral surface Pb of the large end part 21a. The reference line is corrected so as to reduce a thickness t of the bridge part 21e at a center part in a circumferential direction of the bridge part 21e, and corrected so as to increase the thickness t of the bridge part 21e between the center part of the bridge part 21e and the corner part 21f.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
