Abstract:
To avoid a bend caused by the abutment of a cable end on an edge generating in a brake cable at the traction of the brake cable, in a drum brake for a vehicle in which the cable end joined to the brake cable is engaged with a parking brake lever which can generate a parking brake force according to a turn in one direction so as to turn the parking brake lever in one direction by the traction of the brake cable.SOLUTION: An insertion hole 50 for inserting a brake cable 37 therein is formed at a cable end 36, and at least an end part of the insertion hole 50 at a traction direction 51 side of the brake cable 37 is formed so as to be expanded in a diameter as being pulled toward the traction direction 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
