Abstract:

To provide a controller capable of miniaturizing a driving device, improving fuel consumption and preventing occurrence of shock when a driving mode is switched.

This controller comprises: a differential status switching means 64 for switching a differential status that a differential mechanism 24 is operable as an electric continuously variable speed change gear and a non-differential status that a change gear ratio is fixed; and a driving force source switching means 63 for switching the driving force source of a vehicle. When a switching request by the differential status switching means 64 and a switching request by the driving force source switching means 63 are simultaneously generated, the control of either of them is performed in advance so that it is possible to prevent the status switching of the differential mechanism 24 and the switching of the driving mode from being overlapped, and to suitably prevent the generation of shock due to this.
