To provide a gas pressure type accumulator capable of holding its functionality even if a valve device comprising a vehicle brake device breaks down.

This vehicle brake device is so formed that the gas pressure type accumulator 10 has a housing 12 and the internal chamber of the housing 12 is provided with the gas pressure type accumulator 10 divided into a gas chamber 20 filled with the gas and a fluid chamber 22 by a metal bellows 16. The fluid can be fed to and discharged from the fluid chamber 22 via a feed pipe 24 under the pressure and in this case, a valve device 74 is provided between the fluid chamber 22 and the feed pipe 24. The valve device 74 closes when the pressure in the feed pipe 24 lowers the minimum value and opens when the pressure exceeds the minimum value. The valve device 74 also closes when the pressure in the feed pipe 24 exceeds the maximum value and opens when the pressure lowers the maximum value for improving the functionality of the gas pressure type accumulator 10.
