Abstract:
To elongate the service life of a valve by reducing wear of a ball part and seat part.
This valve can achieve a close state to block a flow of fluid by pressing the ball part 12 against the seat part and an open state to allow the flow of fluid by separating the ball part 12 from the seat part. The valve is provided with the ball part 12 which includes a spherical base material 40 comprising a non-magnetic metal material, an intermediate layer 42 formed on a surface layer part of the base material 40 by applying Tufftride treatment to the base material 40 and an outermost layer 44 comprising DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) laminated on the surface of the intermediate layer 42.
