Abstract:
To increase a life by enhancing oil pit resistance in a valve element used in an accumulator safety valve of a die casting machine.
The valve element of the present invention comprises a precipitation hardened stainless steel (for example, SUS630) and a nitriding layer is formed on a sealing surface. The nitriding layer is formed by simultaneously carrying out a nitriding at the time of precipitation hardening processing.
