Abstract:
To provide a valve device enabling suppression of an increase in frequency of the maintenance thereof while avoiding jamming of scale in the initial stage, and to provide a pressure reducing valve using the same.SOLUTION: A valve device 34 comprises: a valve element 32 opening and closing a path between an inflow path 64 and an outflow path 68 of fluid F; a spring 44 seating the valve element 32 on a valve seat 40 by means of its spring force; a shaft member 42 pressurizing the valve element 32 toward a valve-opening direction against the spring force of the spring 44 to separate the valve element form the valve seat 40; a screen member 66 provided in the inflow path 64 and preventing foreign matter from flowing into a valve chest 62 in which the valve element 32 and the spring 44 are housed; and a pre-screen 80 provided upstream of the screen member 66 in the inflow path 64. The pre-screen 80 has a mesh size set to be smaller than that of the screen member 66 and is configured to be freely turned on and off.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
