Abstract:
To provide a technique for cleaning an ion exchange resin tower which can suck impurities accumulated in the tower while suppressing suction of an ion exchange resin.SOLUTION: A tower cleaning method supplies compressed gas from a lower part of an ion exchange resin tower of a pure water production apparatus and floats impurities, and sucks the floating impurities with a vacuum hose inserted from the upper part of the tower, so as to clean the inside of the tower. As the used vacuum hose, one or two or more slits 30 extending in an axial direction of a hose nozzle 23 constituting the vacuum hose tip are formed in the hose nozzle 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
