Abstract:
The present invention aims to provide a vacuum gate valve which is able to, even when a whole stem is bent, close a valve body to be almost parallel to a valve seat sealing surface, minimize the operation width of the valve body by making the thickness smaller, and make the body transversal width very small. To this end, the present invention provides a vacuum gate valve with a valve body holder on a stem and a valve body on the valve body holder, which comprises: a rib unit which includes a transversal rib and a longitudinal rib formed on one surface of the valve body holder to increase a bending strength; a transversal concave unit formed in the transversal center on a rear surface of the valve body; and a longitudinal concave unit formed on an upper side on the center. The rib unit is stored in the transversal concave unit and the longitudinal concave unit without coming in contact with the valve body. Both ends of the valve body holder are fixed on a rear surface of the valve body on an outer side in a longitudinal direction than the transversal concave unit. The fixed positions of the valve body holder and the stem are on an upper side than the transversal center of the valve body. When the valve is closed, an upper side than the transversal center of the valve body is pressed, thereby generating a bending which is opposite to the whole bending for the stem from the center of the valve body, so that the valve body is moved with an inclination and the sealing surface of the valve body and the valve seat becomes almost parallel.
