Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum breaker which prevents generation of negative pressure within a warm water tank, a solenoid valve, etc., and always smoothly drains water discharged from the warm water tank, the solenoid valve, etc., via a hose.
SOLUTION: The vacuum breaker is constituted of an opening 15 formed in an upper surface of the warm water tank 3, a plurality of projections 16 protruded from an upper edge of the opening 15, an enclosure wall 21 upward protruded from a peripheral surface of the opening 15, a housing 22 formed so as to cover the enclosure wall 21 and fixed to the same, and a cut-off valve body 25 arranged at a lower portion of the housing 22. The housing 22 includes a venting cylinder 24 protruding therefrom, which cylinder has a small hole 30 formed in a base-side end thereof. Further, a hose 31 is fitted onto a front end of the venting cylinder 24, which hose extends so as to discharge water to a toilet bowl of a Western-style toilet stool. By virtue of provision of the hose 31, a tray on which the warm water tank 3 is mounted is dispensed with.
