Abstract:
To provide an unwashed cereal manufacturing device and a method that allows washing of cereal at the time of cooking to be skipped by removing foreign matters such as rice bran sticking to raw material cereal via a device of a simple structure and operations and that can manufacture unwashed cereal of excellent quality.SOLUTION: Raw material cereal grains are supplied to an upper end part side of a turning flow passage 12 between a processing cylinder 11 obliquely disposed and a rotation processing body 13, air is made to flow in from an air inflow part 21 by sucking from a separation dregs discharge part 22 of the processing cylinder 11 to form a fluid layer of cereal grains 1, the rotation processing body 13 is rotated and cereal grains are discharged to and dispersed on an inner circumferential surface side of the processing cylinder via a discharge-dispersing material 14 such that a turning fluid layer is formed between it and the inner peripheral surface of the processing cylinder, deposit sticking to surfaces of cereal grains is made to separate with an impact associated with release of cereal grains via the discharge-dispersing material 14 and collision with the inner peripheral surface of the processing cylinder, and separated dregs are discharged from the separation dregs discharge part 22 together with air, thus manufacturing unwashed cereal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
