Abstract:
To make the end shape of an outer ring member in which a fixed part of a boot can be securely positioned for a boot setting part of the outer ring member in fastening a boot band.
In the uniform joint, a predetermined disance L separated from an end face of the outer ring member to the top of an inclined surface along the horizontal direction, and an inclination angle θ for the inclined surface for the surface to be installed are preferably set in an allowable range M satisfying the relationship between equation:(1)L≤-0.018θ+15.807, equation:(2)L≤-0.1438θ+21.597, equation:(3)L≥-0.0885θ+16.106, equation:(4)θ≥20, and equation:(5)θ≤60.
