Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the profitability and the operability of a steam turbine power plant by disposing a valve which pocesses a flow-rate or a pressure adjusting function in a pipe passage which communicates a reheater and a condenser with each other. CONSTITUTION:A turbine bypass system consists of a turbine bypass piping 53, a low-pressure turbine bypass piping 63 and a low-pressure turbine bypass piping 75. The turbine bypass system contains pipings 54 and 64 which discharge part of steam from a primary low-temperature steam piping 42 and a secondary low-temperature reheated steam piping 44 to a condenser 30. In operation of the turbine bypass, adjusting valves 58 and 68 are controlled to feed the demanded quantity of steam to the reheaters 12 and 13 of a boiler 10. The profitability and the operability of the turbine power plant can thereby be improved.
