Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tube coupling sealed against high pressure with reliability, easily and compactly manufacturable, and allowing the easy and safe operation in opening and closing.
SOLUTION: This tube coupling comprises two coupling blocks 2 and 3 held together with a clamp screw 19. One of the coupling blocks 2 and 3 comprises a coupling plug 10 engaged with a coupling socket formed in the other coupling block. A seal ring 13 is formed of an elastically deformable material, and sealed between the front face of the coupling plug and the surface of the bottom side seal of the coupling socket. The seal ring 13 is sealed in a protective socket 14 surrounding the coupling plug and in a prefabricated state.
