Abstract:
To provide a method which enables effective separation and removal of cyanuric acid from wastewater containing cyanuric acid, causing the wastewater to be reusable treated water.SOLUTION: A treatment method of wastewater containing cyanuric acid and a chloride ion includes a step of bringing the wastewater into contact with an OH-type II-type strongly basic ion-exchange resin, preferably adjusting a pH of the wastewater to be treated to 7 or more before bringing the wastewater into contact with the II-type strongly basic ion-exchange resin, to thereby cause the cyanuric acid contained in the wastewater to be adsorbed on the II-type strongly basic ion-exchange resin.SELECTED DRAWING: None
