To provide a travelling type seedling transplanter in which travel wheels 5 supporting a travel machine frame 2 on both the right and left sides of the travel machine frame are disposed in a state movable upward or downward with respect to the travel machine frame, on whose travel machine frame a seedling planting mechanism 7 for planting seedlings in the surface of a field and a water tank 8 (or a fertilizer tank for fertilization) for watering the planted seedlings are disposed, and which can prevent the center of gravity from becoming higher and the increase in the loads due to the water tank, when the travel machine frame is upward or downward moved with respect to the surface of the field.
The water tank 8 is disposed in a state movable upward or downward with respect to the travel machine frame 2, and the water tank is connected to the travel wheels 5 in a state movable relatively upward or downward with respect to the travel machine frame at the same time of the relative upward or downward movements of the travel wheels with respect to the travel machine frame.
