Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission for a vehicle applicable to a speed changing mechanism on which a shaft itself rotates, simple in constitution and capable of miniaturizing itself in the axial direction.
SOLUTION: The transmission for the vehicle to selectively change speed changing gears to synchronously rotate with a hollow shaft 630 (640) over to each other for each of speed changing shafts by arranging a plurality of the speed changing shafts 63, 65, 67 constituted by axially supporting a plurality of the speed changing gears in one row by a hollow shaft in parallel so that the speed changing gears to correspond to each other are engaged with each other are furnished with a clutch mechanism provided between the hollow shaft 630 (670) and the speed changing gears 632, 633, 634 and a clutch operating element 631 (671) stored in the hollow shaft 630 (670), and the clutch mechanism selectively engages each of the speed changing gears with the hollow shaft in accordance with a position in the axial direction of the clutch operating element 631 (671).
