Abstract:
To properly adjust a friction force between a ball part of a ball stud encapsulated by a housing inner spherical face and the housing inner spherical face.SOLUTION: In a torque tuning method, a ball stud 10 is rotated by a motor 22 with an axial core of the ball stud 10 as a center, the rotation torque of the motor 22 ascends and descends from an apex at the rotation of the ball stud, and the rotation torque drawing a curve which ascends again from a bottom to which the rotation torque descends is defined as a reference value. Next, the ball part 10b is encapsulated by a housing 11 by insert molding. Next, the ball stud 10 is rotated by the motor 22 at a speed or higher at which an inner spherical face 11a covering the ball part 10b is worn with the axial core of the ball stud 10 as a center. Next, the rotation torque of the motor 22 is measured at the rotation. Next, when the measured rotation torque reaches the reference value, the motor 22 is stopped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
