Abstract:
To provide a torque limiting connector.SOLUTION: A torque limiting connector includes an outside connector, an inside connector, and a clutch. The outside connector includes a profile arranged on an inside surface of the outside connector. The inside connector may be arranged in the outside connector, and can includes an upper side thread part and a lower side thread part. The clutch is arranged around the inside connector, can be connected to the inside connector rotatably, and can include a plurality of clutch teeth extending from an outer surface of the clutch. The plurality of clutch teeth is biased outward so as to releasably engage with the profile of the outside connector. The plurality of clutch teeth can be configured so as to transmit torque from the outside connector to the inside connector when the torque is a torque limit or less, and prevent transmission of torque when the torque exceeds the torque limit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
