PURPOSE: To reconcile right and left independent control after achieving miniaturization, lightweightness and cost reduction and traveling secureness at the time of actuator fail as well as to prevent any interference between torque distribution control and braking control surely through simple control in time of antiskid brake control, in a torque distributor which independently controls any torque to be transferred to both right and left wheels with an actuator.

CONSTITUTION: This torque distributor is structured that Two spools 16L, 16R are shifted by one stepping motor 20, whereby two orifice opening areas are varied, and simultaneously with sol movements by a return spring 21 in time of fail, such a spool position as setting both orifices 17L, 17R to an intermediate opening, capable of doing a torque trabsfer as allowing them for a differential rotation, is obtainable. In addition, at the time of spool pushing by the stepping motor 20, this spool position opening both these orifices 17L, 17R together is made selectable.
