Abstract:
To provide a torque converter that eliminates the need of a pump for supplying a working fluid into a torus.SOLUTION: A torque converter 3 includes a cover 31, an impeller 32, a turbine 33, and a stator 34. The impeller 32 rotates integrally with the cover 31. The turbine 33 is disposed oppositely to the impeller 32. The stator 34 is disposed between the impeller 32 and the turbine 33. The impeller 32 has an impeller shell 321, an impeller blade 322, an impeller hub 323, and at least one supply channel 324. The supply channel 324 is formed in the impeller hub 323. The supply channel 324 extends outward in a diametrical direction from an inner peripheral surface of the impeller hub 323, and opens into a torus T.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
