To provide a torque converter capable of reducing its weight and improving degree of freedom for layout of a needle bearing.SOLUTION: A torque converter is arranged between a power source and a transmission, and comprises: a pump impeller; a turbine runner; a stator; and a needle bearing provided between the turbine runner and the stator.
