Abstract:
To provide a torque converter with an improved torque amplification function.SOLUTION: A torque converter 100 includes a front cover 2, a first torque converter body part 3, and a second torque converter body part 4. The first torque converter body part 3 has a first impeller 31, a first turbine 32, and a first stator 33. The first impeller 31 is fixed to the front cover 2. The second torque converter body part 4 is disposed between the front cover 2 and the first torque converter body part 3 in an axial direction. The second torque converter body part 4 has a second impeller 41, a second turbine 42, and a second stator 43. The second impeller 41 is connected to the first turbine 32 so as to integrally rotate therewith.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
