Abstract:
To provide a torque converter with an improved torque amplification function.SOLUTION: A torque converter 100 includes a front cover 2, a first torque converter body part 3, and a second torque converter body part 4. The first torque converter body part 3 has a first impeller 31, a first turbine 32, and a first stator 33. The first impeller 31 is fixed to the front cover. The second torque converter body part 4 has a second impeller 41, a second turbine 42, and a second stator 43. Torque from the first turbine 32 is input to the second impeller 41. The first torque converter body part 3 and the second torque converter body part 4 are disposed so as to overlap with each other in a radial view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
