Abstract:
To provide a toroidal type non-stage transmission which can prevent damage of a retainer of a roller bearing provided in a power roller.SOLUTION: A power roller 40A includes: a power roller inner ring 55 sandwiched between discs and having a shaft hole 58; a power roller outer ring 60 which has a support shaft 62 and rotatably supports the power roller inner ring 55 by the support shaft 62 being inserted into the shaft hole 58; and a roller bearing 72 provided between the shaft hole 58 and the support shaft 62. The power roller inner ring 55 has: a large end surface 50b facing the power roller outer ring 60 side; and a small end surface 50a facing the opposite side of the power roller outer ring 60 and having a diameter smaller than that of the large end surface 50b. Since an initial gap between a roller 72a of the roller bearing 72 and an inner peripheral surface of the shaft hole 58 becomes larger from the small end surface 50a side to the large end surface 50b side of the power roller inner ring 55, damage of the retainer of the roller bearing can be prevented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
