Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make an effective plate worn prior to the wear of a matrix to form a number of recesses and projections and make securely the grain shape of a crushed product cubic by embedding the effective plate of a material having resistance to wear lower than the matrix on both or either one of effective wall thickness section of a couple of tooth plates.
CONSTITUTION: Tooth plates 1 are formed in a couple for biting into and crushing a material to be crushed are provided in a crusher, and an effective plate or plates 3 composed of a material having resistance to wear lower than that of a matrix 2 are embedded on both or either one of effective wall thickness section of a couple of tooth plates 1. Thus the effective plate 3 is made worn prior to the wear of the matrix 3 following the start of the operation to form a number of projected sections 4 following after the embedded state of the effective plate 3 on the matrix 2. The contact of the material to be crushed and the tooth plates 1, therefore, is in the form of point contact of projected sections 4, and not only the simple compression but also shear bending are applied effectively to the matrix to be crushed to form the grain shape of a crushed product into a cubic shape more securely.
