PURPOSE: To perform secure channel selection by switching variable resistors for variation in tuning voltage through manual switches during channel selection on a TV side, and applying a control voltage to an IC for channel selection control through switches which couple with said switches during channel selection on a VTR side.

CONSTITUTION: For channel selection on a TV side, one of switches S1a∼ S12a is pressed and locked and the left terminal of one of 12 variable resistors including a variable resistor 1 is grounded. For channel selection on a VTR side, channel selection data is fetched into a microcomputer IC 5 through a 12-way matrix having data input terminals 6∼9 and timing signal terminals 10∼ 12. When one of switches S1b∼S12b is pressed, one channel selection signal is outputted and passed through an interface circuit 14 to be supplied to 12 variable resistors including a resistor 15. Thus, the channel selection on the TV and VTR sides is performed securely through the interlocking switches.
