PURPOSE: To obtain a magnetic head having stable magnetic characteristics by adhering a center core to one notch part of a side core with a gap spacer between by a bobbin having a projection part and leaving one gap empty.

CONSTITUTION: The gap spacer 4 is sandwitched between one notch surface 1c of the side core 1 and the center core 2, one side 3'a of the flange part of the bobbin 3' is made long, and when it contacts the inside surface 1d of the side core 1, the center core 2 piercing the hollow hole of the bobbin 3' is pressed to right to bring the gap spacer 4 into tight contact with the notch surface 1c and center core 2. Therefore, the gap width between the notch surface 1c of the side core 1 and center core 2 is equal to the thickness of the gap spacer 4. Further, the interval between the notch surface 1b and center core 2 is determined automatically because the spacer 4 is sandwiched between the gap surface 1c and center core 2 and corresponds to the space gap 5.
