Title:
SPEAKER UNIT FOR REPRODUCING VERY LOW-PITCHED SOUND
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6032498
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable to enjoy music having sensation of very low-pitched sound and presence by attaching an oscillation unit to a speaker box and making the source of oscillation and the source of sound same position.

CONSTITUTION: In a speaker unit 10, an oscillation unit 11 is attached in the bottom face of a speaker box 1 to which speakers 2, 2' are mounted, and the output is transmitted to a diaphragm 3 outside of the bottom face through a rod 6. When audio current is applied to the coil 8 of the unit 11, the coil 8 generates displacement of a cavity 12 between a pole piece 5 and a yoke 5' corresponding to the audio current, the displacement is transmitted to the diaphragm 3 through the rod 6, and oscillates the box 1 through a spring 9. Accordingly, the box 1 and diaphragm 3 are displaced relatively, and this displacement oscillation is transmitted to the floor on which the diaphragm is placed by weight of the unit 10. Thus, together with propagated sound, bodily sensation sound sensed from the same direction can be obtained.
